This Cambridge property is getting built out right - and we're a big part of making it happen. The owners are setting this place up for horses, and that means reliable water access isn't optional. It's the whole foundation of a functional setup. Hauling water by hand every day gets old fast, and it's just not practical long-term.

We just wrapped up the drinking post water installation. That's the first piece of the puzzle. Coming up next, we'll be back to install a yard hydrant and run the waterline through a directional bore. A directional bore lets us get the line where it needs to go without tearing up the surface. Clean, efficient, and way less disruptive than open trenching across the whole property.

Site work like this takes careful planning. You've got fence posts going in, grading happening across a big open area, and waterline routes to think through - all at the same time. We're using the Bobcat E40 for the precision digging and the plate compactor to make sure the backfill is solid before we move on. Details like that matter. Loose backfill settles, and settled ground causes problems down the road.

What we love about jobs like this is that they're functional from day one. Every piece we put in serves a real purpose for the people living and working on this property. Whether it's excavating, custom grading, or utility work, the goal is always the same - build it right so it lasts.
