Pole Barn Pad Finished Right with Class 5 in Becker

This one was a while in the making. We built the pad for this pole barn a few months back, and coming out to finish the job by spreading Class 5 around the full perimeter felt like closing the loop on something we started right.

Here's the thing about Class 5 - it's not just about looks. A properly graded base around a structure like this handles drainage so water isn't pooling against the building, gives you firm, consistent access no matter the season, and just ties the whole site together. Skip that step and you're going to feel it every time you pull up to the building after a rain.

The grading work here involved spreading and leveling the aggregate evenly across the apron area around the barn. Getting that grade right matters. Too much slope and material migrates. Not enough and you're holding water. We take the time to make sure it drains away from the structure the way it should.
