Riding Arena Grading and Footing Work Done Right

A riding arena that holds water or rides rough isn't just frustrating - it's a safety issue for you and your horses. Low spots, uneven footing, and poor drainage turn a usable arena into a muddy mess that cuts into your riding time and wears on your animals. It doesn't have to stay that way.

We work on riding arenas of all shapes and conditions. Sometimes that means a simple regrade to knock out the low spots and get water moving the right direction. Other times it means starting fresh - excavating the area, building the right base, and adding proper footing so the surface actually holds up season after season.

What makes the difference between an arena that rides well and one that doesn't is the base work underneath. Grade it right, compact it properly, and the footing on top performs the way it should. Skip that step, and you'll be fighting the same drainage problems all over again. We know how to get the grading dialed in so you're not back to square one after the next rain.

Every property is a little different. Budget matters too. We work with horse owners across a range of needs - whether you just need the surface touched up or you're building something out from scratch. There's no one-size-fits-all answer here, and we're not going to push you toward more than you need.

If your arena has been giving you problems, it's worth a conversation. We're happy to talk through what's going on and figure out what kind of work actually makes sense for your situation.
