Ritchie Omni 2 Waterer and Yard Hydrant Install at Delano Horse Property

When you've got horses depending on you, a reliable water source isn't optional. Hauling buckets or dealing with an old system that keeps giving you trouble gets old fast. This Delano property needed a serious upgrade - and that's exactly what we came out to do.

We installed two Ritchie Omni 2 automatic waterers, each set on their own poured concrete pad. The Omni 2 is a workhorse unit. It's built tough, handles Minnesota weather well, and keeps water fresh and accessible without you having to think about it twice. Each unit feeds automatically, so your horses have clean water whenever they need it - not just when you have time to fill a tank.

On top of the waterers, we also put in a new yard hydrant. That gives the property a solid, freeze-protected water access point for everyday barn use. It's one of those things that sounds simple but makes a huge difference in how easy the whole property runs day to day.

To get everything set up right, we brought in the mini ex and skid steer to do the trenching and site prep. Doing it that way keeps the work clean and the disruption to the property minimal. We're not just dropping equipment in the ground - we're making sure the whole setup is done properly so it lasts.
